What if instead of taking Atton on a vacation, Carth, Kreia, Pip & Bailey had had a conversation with Alexandra about what she was doing to Atton?
A What If is a single chapter “story” that looks at what if a different path had been taken at a critical point in the story. One that would have drastic effects on the story. I will do at least one per generation. They will be released after both heir and “spouse” have died.
What If #1
What if Sinbad had not chosen to run and instead permanently distance himself from the family?

Welcome back to another chapter of Random Branches! In the last chapter Ian Destansi saved Bailey from being kidnapped by a spy of Darius’s. However, it only served to further divide Atton and Bailey. Their fighting led Mission to go visit her uncle and confide in him. It had been a couple of months since Sion and Canderous moved out to go to college. Mission missed her older brother and her alien uncle. Especially Sion. He had been like a male mother to her when her own mother couldn’t be bothered to be home or sober. Mission had taken to spending the weekends over at Uncle Carth’s to get away from the constant fighting.
Welcome back to another chapter of Random Branches! In the last chapter, several members of the Rand family had a birthday. Bailey learned about Darius and what career Sinbad is in. This shook her trust in Atton hard and the two have been fighting for months over it. This has put a strain on the family as a whole and has pushed both to drinking. Atton being more responsible about his drinking. At the very end, Bailey was getting drunk with her new found friend Hugh and he had just asked her to stay for one more drink. And now on with the story.
Ian Destansi smiled. Luck was on his side tonight. He had located Darius’s spy in Moonlight Falls. He was at the bar talking with an older lady. Not quite elderly, but by the looks of her, she wasn’t too far from being elderly. After noting the conversation wasn’t related to Darius he didn’t focus in on every word said. But he did hear that she had a couple of birthdays to attend and couldn’t stay long.
He heard her phone go off and watched as she talked for maybe thirty seconds, sounding a little drunk but not wasted yet. She bid good evening to the spy but the spy convinced her to stay for one more drink. Ian sighed. The girl was obviously his next meal target and he was trying to get her too drunk to remember her priorities. But it was the lady’s problem if she got that drunk.

Welcome back to another chapter of Random Branches! In the last chapter, Canderous got accustomed to living with his father. Atton also got reacquainted with his best friend Bailey and quickly became more than friends. They were not dating for very long before Atton popped the question and Bailey said yes. And now on with the story.
Atton ran his hand through his hair for the tenth time that hour. The wait was killing him. He didn’t understand what could be taking Bailey so long.
“Is she having second thoughts?” he wondered out loud.
It’s in the works. I promise.
I’m wanting to do this perfectly because Atton deserves it.
So I’m hitting writer’s block to some extent with this.
My other reason for not having an update is that I’ve been helping organize and prepare for a Tournament for the Sims 3 version of the Apocalypse Challenge. And the Tournament started on March 1st. And well, as an organizer, I can’t very well not participate.
Now, my founder is none other than Carth Rand!
I’m doing a base game only run so I changed his Eco-Friendly trait to Genius. And changed his LTW to something actually doable within the rules.
That can be found blogged about here. So if you like Carth and want to see Carth babies, go there. It is purely commentary. I need to finish BEFORE the tournament is over. And as you can see from this challenge, if I do it with a story, it won’t happen XD
Welcome back to another chapter of Random Branches! In the last chapter, Lucian Dracule visited Alexandra Alto in after Alistair Mathiasen brought it to his attention that there was a young Rand outside of Moonlight Falls and inside of Bridgeport. Initially it did not seem like Alexandra was going to budge, but then Darius attacked the place, injuring Lucian in the process. After that she decided that with Atton was the safest course of action. And Canderous had just been brought to the Rand house in Moonlight Falls by Alistair. And now on with the story.
The first few weeks were hard. Canderous knew none of them and missed his mom terribly. It did not however stop Kreia from giving Canderous a new wardrobe. Luckily, Canderous and Sion both got along relatively well considering they were toddlers. Toddlers used to being the center of attention.
